I'd like to give a saucy shout-out to Lil Sis for bringing the beautifully-slowly-but-steadily (because that's how you win) cooked roast beef to our family celebration yesterday. By the way, we did actually try to drive around looking for Burger Kings on the way to my sister's house, but darnit, when you're looking, you never find them. (Thanks to our local expert who Messenger'ed us the locations of the two closest ones)
While all the food and company our family enjoyed was great all day, I have to say that the other highlight was arriving at Hubby's side's celebration to find three kinds of bbq grilling in the back yard. Yes people, it has begun! Chicken, Filipino skewers, and Korean beef ribs.
Don't get me wrong, I am not usually such a hyper-carnivore. I love me some veggies.
Okay, ya, whatever....it's time to make a date for a whopper and poutine with my fave.

Haha! You're welcome! (I'm still laughing at your slow and steady comment!) You missed the home videos last night -- apparently they're reairing next week though. EEK! Anyhoo, hope your anus is being good to you after meat overload. j/k

And yes, my body handled the carne-val quite well, thank you.
