I had big plans today for a roadtrip eastward - I had a show scheduled in Kingston this afternoon. There is, though, a storm warning for snow, ice pellets and rain all packaged together very nicely to be dumped on my exact route from home to my host's home.

At 6:15 this morning it was just snow and very calm outside. It was so nice and peaceful. I had my first joyful shovelling experience of the year:) Nobody was out; it was so quiet. In case you're wondering, I love to shovel. But now that our house is so cleanly carved out of the mass of white, I'm bloody pooped, and I know this afternoon I will be whining about aching arm and back muscles.
