My former co-worker passed away last month after an inspiring 15-month journey with pancreatic cancer. While our interaction was limited to daily greetings and me obtaining his signature on documents every few days, I enjoyed that he was surprisingly down-to-earth, even before being diagnosed, despite being at the top of the industry's food chain.
Today is one of those days when I am certain that God brings people into your world to teach you things, whether they are put into your inner circle, or just within your peripheral sight lines. I am thankful to have met such a gracious, kind, energizing, real man.
