We attended my big girl's first dance recital last weekend. What an experience. She won Most Improved and Perfect Attendance awards and her performance (trying to be objective here) was so impressive. I'd never seen her dance like that at home. Of course, I got emotional watching her. She's found her niche and, despite all my whining all year about the hassle and expense, she is continuing her lessons next year.

It was also a treat to see our other favourite Kicks girls perform (one's missing from the pics).
