Long Weekend, Part I

Posted On 11:12 PM |

As a pick-us-up after a long week, the five of us headed to Vaughan Mills to make the very exciting WDW tickets purchase. The trip is officially 81 days away, and we've begun a countdown on the kitchen calendar. And, frankly, we need it. The weather is really straining my relationship with Wiarton Willie, who said spring was just around the corner on Groundhog Day.

Life has become exhausting in the last few months. Without God, hubby and the many opportunities I take to remember that each grueling day brings me closer to my goal, I'd be a basketcase every day. We're using countdowns to big events to get us steps closer to a very happy summer. Next month, our kids' birthday marathon begins, Easter's in there, then the trip, then my little sister's wedding crunch begins the week after we return...and that brings us to early July.

On that note, here's a quote I got earlier this week from one of my daily motivation e-subscriptions:

The purpose of life is a life of purpose. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I know that today, I am exactly where I'm supposed to be. And now I'm going to catch some zzz's.
