Tonight we celebrated my grandmother's 98th birthday. Yes, 98.

This amazing woman, who I am blessed to be growing up with for all 31 years of my life and counting, is still her feisty self, only confined in an aging body.

The 5 best seconds of my day were watching my Lola push a piece of paper with my enormously-written name within centimetres of her eyes, take moments to process what she was seeing, and then let loose a warm, happy smile. The added treat was that this happened both when we arrived and when we left.
